OUR COMMITMENT We are committed to maintaining the trust and confidence of our clients and visitors. We do not sell, rent or trade email lists or personal information with other companies or organisations for marketing purposes. This Privacy Notice explains the types of personal data we may collect from you and we use and protect that information.
TYPE OF DATA
Depending on the service you require, the personal data we collect may include, but is not limited to: your name, date of birth, address, telephone number, email address, medical overview, and photographs or videos of your tattoos and/or designs and/or tattoo location.
If you opt in to our newsletter, we collect your name and email address. We use this information to send you updates you have requested, to contact you if additional information is needed, and occasionally to confirm that our records are accurate and that you wish to remain subscribed.
We use Mailchimp to deliver our newsletters. Mailchimp provides us with statistics, such as email opens and link clicks, to help us improve our communications. You may unsubscribe at any time using the link at the bottom of our emails or by contacting hello@nmt.studio.

Tattoo Artists may use Jotform to complete consent forms in line with UK law, local authority requirements, and insurance obligations. When you complete consent form, the Tattoo Artist will collect your name, date of birth, address, phone number, email address, and medical overview. This information ensures it is safe and legal to carry out your tattoo procedure. You may also choose to join our mailing list when completing the form.

If you contact us using the website book now form, we collect your name, email address, photographs of your desired/current tattoo, design and/or tattoo location.
If you contact us using the website contact form, we collect your name and email address so we can respond to your enquiry.
ACCESS TO YOUR PERSONAL DATA
Access to your personal data is restricted to our team members where necessary, for example when they are the Tattoo Artist best suited to your tattoo request. All team members are bound by confidentiality and non-disclosure agreements. We will only process your data for the purposes outlined in this notice, and if we ever need to use it for any other purpose, we will notify you and seek your consent where required.
We do not sell, distribute or share your personal information with third parties unless we are legally required to do so. COLLECTION AND STORAGE OF DATA
We collect data directly from you, for example when you complete forms, send emails, or message us on social media.
Client data is stored electronically. This information is used solely to provide the services you request and to obtain the legal consent required for tattoo procedures.
USE OF PHOTOGRAPHS AND VIDEOS
Photos and videos taken in the studio may be used for marketing and advertising purposes including, but not limited to, social media, our website, and printed publications. Content may be used in any format or medium we deem appropriate.
We will always aim to feature only the tattoo and its placement on the body; however, this may not always be possible.

KEEPING YOUR PERSONAL DATA
All personal data is stored electronically and is not kept in paper form. We retain your information only for as long as necessary to meet our legal, regulatory and insurance obligations. This includes maintaining records for the period required by UK tax law and the retention terms set by our insurance providers. Once the required retention period has passed, your data will be securely deleted from our systems.
PAYMENTS & ONLINE PURCHASES
When you make a purchase through our website, such as gift vouchers, merchandise and aftercare, we collect certain information necessary to process your order. This may include your name, billing address, email address and order details. All card payments are processed securely by our third-party payment provider Stripe. We do not store or have access to your full card details at any time.
